The Michael’s Salon Designer Apprenticeship Program offers a full-time position where you’ll learn directly in the salon environment alongside our master designers, paralleled by structured courses taught by our experienced education team. Interns are in comprehensive training to earn their own chair and participate in ongoing salon classes for advanced craft development.
Work as an assistant alongside our master designers throughout the week, gaining real-world salon experience every single day.
Take weekly classes with our education team designed specifically to fill in the gaps left by cosmetology school.
Master crucial business and guest relation practices, including lessons on creating a strong social media presence, proven consultation techniques, and making expert product recommendations.
Gain direct experience from top outside educators representing our partner brands, including Moroccanoil, Dr. Dennis Gross, Wella, Amika, and more.
Upon completion, you’ll have the opportunity to seamlessly transition into a full-time Designer at Michael’s Salon, fully equipped with the skills, confidence, and experience to build your clientele and grow your career!
