Our Story

Michael’s Salon & Spa is more than just a business—it’s a legacy. Founded over 50 years ago, our salon and spa have been built on family values, passion for the beauty industry, and a commitment to excellence.

At the heart of our story is Grandma Ada, whose love for this industry still inspires us today. Her original 1929 Ohio Cosmetology license remains proudly displayed in our salon, a symbol of where we came from and a reminder of the generations of beauty professionals who have shaped Michael’s into what it is today.

For decades, my dad dedicated his life to this business, pouring his heart into making it a place where both clients and employees feel like family. After years of hard work and leadership, he has now retired to slow down and enjoy time with his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, integrity, and excellence.

Today, I am honored to own and lead Michael’s Salon & Spa, continuing our family’s commitment to quality, education, and community. While ownership has transitioned, the heart of Michael’s remains unchanged—we are still family-run, deeply rooted in tradition, and dedicated to growing the next generation of beauty professionals.
